The Ministery of Education and Science awarded Prof. dr. Elisaveta Naumova- Grigorova with the “Pythagoras” prize

For the eleventh year in a row, the Ministry of Education and Science gives the “Pythagoras” award for a major contribution to the development of science. One of the winning scientists is Prof. Dr. Elisaveta Naumova - Grigorova, creator and head of the first Department of Clinical Immunology at the Medical Faculty of the Medical University - Sofia. Prof. Naumova develops and approves the Bulgarian School of Clinical and Transplant Immunology. She founded the only expert center on primary immune deficiencies in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian stem cell donor registry and the national umbilical cord cell bank. She is founder and chairwoman of the Bulgarian Association of Clinical Immunology. Between 2015-2018 she was president of the European Federation of Immunogenetics.
