An international team of future doctors reviewed 82 adult patients 100 meters from the Greek border, in the backward village of Kushla, rarely seen by outsiders. The village of Zlatograd is truly secluded from the world because of its geographic location.
Throughout the weekend of 19th-21st April 2019, however, the old people in Kushla were surprised by a whole team of current and future doctors. The visit was from foreign students, who came on their own initiative and led by their head, the gold medalist Dr. Elina Beleva, who is a specialist at the Clinic of Medical Oncology at the University Hospital "St. Georgi EAD” and chief assistant at the Department of Clinical Oncology at the Medical University Plovdiv.
